Connected everywhere the patient goes.

In the hospital, SleeveSense connects over long-range (LoRa) radio paired with a dedicated cellular link to the Senphonix cloud. It runs independently of hospital networks, so there is no strain on existing infrastructure and no upgrades required. At home, SleeveSense switches automatically to Bluetooth through the patient’s smartphone. The experience stays completely passive, and monitoring continues without interruption.

Data where clinicians already work.

Vitals are exposed through a secure API on a HIPAA-compliant cloud running on Microsoft Azure. The electronic health record pulls readings when clinicians choose to review them, and existing hospital alerting systems reach the data through the EHR. Senphonix does not set thresholds, generate its own alerts, or push data automatically. That keeps clinical governance with the care team and avoids adding to alarm fatigue.

Secure at every step, by default.

• Bluetooth: Secure Connections (Bluetooth 4.2+) with AES-128 encryption and ECDH key exchange; data travels to Azure over TLS 1.2 or 1.3.
• LoRa: LoRaWAN 1.1+ with AES-128 encryption on the device-to-gateway link, then TLS 1.2 or 1.3 from gateway to network server and on to the cloud.
• In the cloud: AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS in transit, and access and key management through Azure Key Vault.

Security architecture is designed to HIPAA and HITECH requirements, with SOC 2 Type II readiness underway.

Senphonix provides and manages all of the infrastructure, the sleeves, the radios, and the chargers, with no capital outlay for the health system. Pricing is a per-patient subscription for inpatients and a per-patient, per-month subscription for outpatients, so cost scales with use and you never pay for unused capacity.
